KTA2 Homework





- Woke my mum up while recording myself. - What else i was going to say.

It is vital that in a documentary that a sense of real place is made. For example using location to show the importance of what is real. In this documentary it heightens the realism and also deeply helps the visual aid. If someone was just describing the animals and their surroundings, it would most definitely not be as affective. Also in this documentary there is a use of non diagetic sounds, this creates a fast pace whilst watching the chaos on screen.
In this documentary the producers have used real locations, people and events. Clearly this is realistic to the viewer. Because this is a nature documentary, it does not have a biased opinion, as it is all fact.

There are some camera angles that show dominance in the animal kingdom. For example in the screen show below, a shark swims over the camera underwater. This shows the power and dominance this animals has both over human beings and the creatures in the wild.
