Editing Idea

We have an idea we could do a reanactment of The Earl Of Effingham answering questions for a newpaper. So I have done a small practice to show what kind of editing i think would be appropiate because of it being a newspaper and because of the fact it is aimed at children.

Cbeebies - Colour and Images

This is only a very short analysis however it just show the kind of colours that attract children and how they are used. It gives us an idea of what kind of bright colours to use, and as we know Cbeebies are a successful company we can trust.

Boston Castle Ideas, Mind Map

Done using http://www.mindmeister.com

This is an internet based mind map in which you can share your work with the people you want and they can also edit it. This is a good idea for this as we are not in the same group at college and we can post ideas whenever we like on here and change them if we like.

KTA2 Homework

- Woke my mum up while recording myself. - What else i was going to say.

It is vital that in a documentary that a sense of real place is made. For example using location to show the importance of what is real. In this documentary it heightens the realism and also deeply helps the visual aid. If someone was just describing the animals and their surroundings, it would most definitely not be as affective. Also in this documentary there is a use of non diagetic sounds, this creates a fast pace whilst watching the chaos on screen.
In this documentary the producers have used real locations, people and events. Clearly this is realistic to the viewer. Because this is a nature documentary, it does not have a biased opinion, as it is all fact.

There are some camera angles that show dominance in the animal kingdom. For example in the screen show below, a shark swims over the camera underwater. This shows the power and dominance this animals has both over human beings and the creatures in the wild.
