Research Ideas for Double Page Spread

I like this documentary tv listing because there isn't too much text but yet there is enough to get a rough idea of what the show is going to be about. As you can see the right page is image based. With only a small caption on information about the picture. If i was going to use the style of this particular spread i would have to add more colour, as the 'snippit' we have done for a documentary is aimed at children. However i do not think that children would be reading a tv guide, therefore it would make more sense to aim this to parents but at the same time still use the colour. Aiming this at parents would encourage them to have their children watch the show. Especially if it's a weekly programme, it could encourage parents to make the show be a routine, and watch the show every week to educate their children. I also think it would be a good idea to include images/shots from the short documentary itself.
